About Me
I am a first year PhD student in the Computer Science Department at UCLA supervised by Jenn Wortman Vaughan.
My primary interest is in Theoretical Machine Learning. More specifically, I am interested in different problems in Learning Theory including learning in the presence of noise, domain adaptation (transfer learning) and active learning.
Prior to coming to UCLA, I was a research assistant at Alberta Ingenuity Center for Machine Learning (AICML) in the Department of Computing Science at University of Alberta. Before that, I was a master student at University of Alberta working with Robert Holte and Sandra Zilles. I received my bachelor's degree in the Department of Computer Engineering at Sharif University of Technology in Iran.
